Parking Details

Parking in the ramp adjacent to Wharton Center is on a first come, first served basis. View the Directions and Parking page for more information.

Parking is $5.00 CASH ONLY at the Wharton Ramp (MSU Ramp #3), 766 East Shaw Lane.

Free parking available in the Shaw Ramp (MSU Ramp #1) behind the MSU College of Law, West of Wharton Center, 592 North Shaw Lane.
- Entry to the building will be limited to the front entrance off Bogue Street or atrium entrance from the parking ramp.
Security Measures

Wharton Center will be implementing bag screening measures for all performances of The Lion King.
- Bags and purses larger than 4.5” x 6.5” will be screened.

Backpacks, over-sized bags, cinch bags, and computer bags/cases will not be allowed into the theatre.
What to Expect

Please check your tickets or email confirmation to make sure you are arriving on the correct date and time.

Doors to the lobby will open 1 hour prior to the performance.

If picking up tickets at will call, please allow for extra time.

Wharton Gifts and refreshment stands open one hour prior to the performance.

Patrons arriving after the performance begins will be held in the lobby the first 15 minutes of the performance.

Run time is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes with an 18 minute intermission.
