The World Premiere of
Sally: A Solo Play
By Sandra Seaton

A Wharton Center Original Production

—

Feb 19-21  /  Pasant Theatre

A powerfully moving, one-woman play that reclaims the story of Sally Hemings—her strength, resilience and the choices she faced in the fight to free her children before Thomas Jefferson’s death.

Written by award-winning playwright and East Lansing’s own Sandra Seaton, this gripping production stars Sabrina Sloan, known for her role as Angelica Schuyler in Hamilton opposite Lin-Manuel Miranda. Directed by Hannah Ryan, former Resident Director of Hamilton on Broadway.
