Help provide arts education and access to students

—

At Wharton Center for Performing Arts, we believe the transformative power of live performances should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. Through your support of our Arts Within Reach program, we can inspire the next generation by ensuring that students throughout the state can attend school day matinees and take part in arts education programs at little to no cost.

Thanks to gifts from Raj and Rick Wiener, Scott and Stacey Schabel, and Melissa and Dan McCance our first $15,000 raised will be matched dollar for dollar. With your support, we can surpass our goal this Giving Tuesday by raising $35,000 to continue to make the arts available to all in our community.

Make a Gift

Each gift gives children and families an introduction to live theatre, providing them the opportunity to experience the world around them through the beauty and wonder of the performing arts.

Your gift will impact the lives of teachers, like Brie McPhall who teaches 5th grade and has attended many Wharton Center Shows because of Arts Within Reach:

“I wanted to reach out to let you know how much we at Hope Middle School have appreciated your support in getting discounted theater tickets into the hands of staff, students, and families. I have seen so many of our students at the shows that would not normally be able to attend. My personal circumstances are much different these days and I am a single mom of 6 on a teacher salary. Through your program, I have been able to afford exposing my own children to the theater and the arts.” —Brie McPhall
