The matinee performance of Hairspray did not go quite as planned. On behalf of Wharton Center and the Touring Company, I apologize for not being able to provide you with an entire performance. Unfortunately, the technical difficulties experienced caused the show to stop, be delayed, and cut short.
We understand that this was disappointing. In an effort to remedy the situation, we would like to offer you the option of tickets to an upcoming performance of Funny Girl at Wharton Center, February 6-11, 2024.
If desired, we are also happy to process a refund for today’s matinee. If you do not wish to receive a refund, we thank you, as all funds would remain with Wharton Center for our ongoing nonprofit operating expenses.
If you are interested in the offer, please respond to this email by Wednesday, November 6, 2023, by noon, with your preference for either tickets to Funny Girl or a refund. Once we receive your response, the Ticket Office will be in touch with additional details.
Please note, that tickets purchased through a third-party cannot be refunded by Wharton Center.
Thank you for your patience this afternoon. We know that today’s performance did not live up to the expectation of quality experiences you have come to trust from Wharton Center, and we thank you for your continued support and understanding. We hope to see you back at the theatre soon.
